Route 95: Seeblickweg

Obernberg (1 394m) - Allerleigrubenspitze (2 131m) - Sandjoch (2 165m ) - Gossensaß (1 098m)

The Seeblickweg leads the hiker from the church of Obernberg along the creek to Eben. There starts a forest road across the Flitterwald up to the forest line. Forwards on route 96 to the Allerleigrubenspitze ( 2.131 m ).

Enjoy the fantastic round view to the Alps of the Zillertal in the east and the Nordkette in the north, looking down to the lake of Obernberg. Along the crest to the Koatnerberg and the Sattele, the crossover to the Fradertal. Nearby is the Sandjoch ( 2.165 m ), the crossover to South Tyrol. There are several routes leading back to the valley. A steep hiking route to Ponitgl and Gossensaß, a former military road to Brennerbad. This route is often used by mountain bikers.
